ALCAN SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD We will initiate our Annual Team ALCAN Sportsmanship Award to be awarded annually to players exemplifying great sportsmanship and respect for the game. ALCAN will provide a nomination form for coaches to nominate a player from their team. Of these nominees, Finalists will be chosen from different age classifications for our ALCAN Gift Packages. Winners will be chosen by ALCAN to receive a scholarship to ALCAN Sports in the form of a gift certificate. We would like to personally present this award at your banquet or other venue you suggest. What a wonderful means of rewarding good sportsmanship! In the near future, we will strive to conduct the ALCAN Sportsmanship Award on a monthly basis, with more nominees, and more encouragement for fair play and respect in the game. We at ALCAN take pride in our 17 year history in the Fairbanks community and we are always working to improve our programs and bolster our involvement in Youth sports and development.
